A tough trip to Portmarnock was on the cards for the Seniors while both the Intermediates and Juniors had the luxury of competing at home.
Lucan managed to take just one of the eighteen qualifying slots in the Senior grade. Terry McMorrow was once again the sole Lucan qualifier after a score of 97. Shandon man Mark Miller lead the qualifying on 88 and the cut fell at 98.
In the Intermediate grade Lucan claimed three of the nine available berths with Dave Hayden II producing the best score of the day on 100, Sean Gallagher was two shots further back on 102 while Tom McMorrow was right on the cut mark with his total of 104.
In the Junior grade there were just four slots available with Lucan taking all four, Cathal Casey was best on 104 with Kevin Redmond on 106, Christopher Byrne on 108 and the final spot went to Eamon Kenny on 109.
