Winter Leagues Week 6

On Sunday we had the quarter finals and semi - finals of the 2015 winter leagues. In the quarter finals Seve's Sockets beat Langan's Ball, The Diggers beat The Golden Oldies +1 and The Champs had a narrow victory over The Philipos. Coogan's Bluff and The Fridge Magnets finished 6 a piece which led to Jay Condron and Noel Ryan going out in a playoff. Noel Ryan took victory for Coogan's Bluff which earned them their place in the semi - finals.

Seve's Sockets and The Diggers were out first in the semi - finals and Seve's Socket had their best win to date when they won 11-1 to get them in the final. In the second match it was a much closer game which saw Coogan's Bluff knock out last years' winner The Champs when they won 7 - 5.
So the final is Seve's Sockets (Seve McGrath, Tony McDonnell, Alan Doyle and Kathleen McDonnell) against Coogan's Bluff (Noel Ryan, Christopher Byrne, Evelyn O'Gorman and Adrienne Kelly). We hope to see everyone up supporting this match on Sunday! Best of luck to both teams.

Regarding scalps, we only had one last weekend which was when Adrienne Kelly beat Peter Fitzgerald.
