| Lucan thrive in Dublin Matchplay | ||||

| Lucan have done well in Dublin competitions again this weekend. In the Senior Dublin Matchplay, Darren Kane was beaten in the final 3&2 by Loughlinstown's Eoin Mitten. In the Junior Grade the Dublin Strokeplay Champion Kevin Redmond [Lucan] beat Stephen Needham [Lucan] 3&2 in a very close fought match with Kevin completing a great double -Dublin Matchplay and Dublin Strokeplay in the same year. In the Junior [Boys] final Sean Gallagher also completed a double when he won his match. Sean has already won the Dublin Gents Intermediate Strokeplay Championship. Well done also to Jay Condron [Lucan] and Christopher Byrne who were beaten semi/finalists in the Gents Junior Grade. |  Kevin Redmond  Sean Gallagher | |||
