A great 8-1 result for Lucan over their arch rivals Glenville,with the match of this fixture being between our Captain Johnny price and Glenville's top player Derek Courtney going to the 18th all square.
Derek teed of first with a great shot that left him with a four foot putt to win the game.Johnny pitched a super ball at the pin,it hit the green two foot from the pin and went straight into the hole. Game set and match with the cheers from both sets of supporters for two top class players after a thrilling encounter.
