Noel Ryan and Dave Hayden II qualify for Leinster Matchplay

The Gents Leinster Matchplay qualifying took place last week in C.Y.M.C. with Lucan represented in all three grades.

Lucan had two qualifers in the Intermediate grade with Noel Ryan and Dave Hayden II both making it through, oddly both Noel and Dave were Lucan's only two Inter qualifiers last year also. Noel beat R.G.S.C.'s Marcus Purcell 1 up after overcoming Marcus' father Michael the night previous, while Dave made the finals after beating Liam Comerford (Old County) 3&2 on the final night following Thursday's victory over Glenville's Gary Phelan.

Sadly none of the Seniors or Juniors made it through to the finals which will take place in Erry and Tullamore on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of May.
