National Inter-Club Competitions 2013

The Pitch and Putt Union of Ireland have created a new National Inter Club event for the 2013 season, with three variants taking place in the first year. These are a Gents Scratch Matchplay event which is open to Gents players of all handicaps, a Gents Handicap Matchplay event which is open to players in the Intermediate and Junior grades and a Ladies Handicap Matchplay event which is open to all lady players.

The competition is played similarly to the Dublin Leagues with 3 doubles and 6 singles. Unlike the Dublin Leagues though, there will be no halves, with extra holes determining a winner in each match. Also, there are no home matches, with all matches are played in a neutral venue. Lucan have entered a single team in each section.
