Winter League
Week five of the Winter League was played in cold but dry weather conditions. The weekend was all about who would qualify out of the different sections for the quarter finals. First up in Group A was as expected the Murphs taking the winners spot and then New Faces taking second place beating the Oddballs by one point. Group B saw Flynn's Flyers leading the qualifiers with the Poppys taking second place again beating the McCann Canns by one point. Group C saw the Dream Team leading the qualifiers by one point from the Philipos. Group D saw a play off for winners and runners up between Coogan's Bluff and the Tractormen. Jay Condron for the Tractormen took on Alan Doyle for Coogan's Bluff playing over nine holes with Jay winning on the last hole.

The quarter finals are as follows:

9am - The Murphs v Philipos
9.30am - Flynn's Fliers v Coogan's Bluff
11.00am - Dream Team v New Faces
11.30am - Tractormen v Poppys

Best of luck to all teams – please come along and support the teams. The ladies secured one scalp this week with Eileen Loakman keeping the flag flying when she beat Pete Anderson on the last hole. At least three of the men escaped on the final hole from having their names in the newsletter.

Membership Fees can be paid on a Sunday morning at the club house to any committee member or you can pay on line ensuring you quote your name and registration number.

Indeed you are more than welcome to call into the Club House and ask for any committee member who will be only too willing to discuss your enquiry – best time to call is on a Sunday from 10am

We have music on Saturday 17th February to celebrate Valentine's night– commencing at circa 9.30pm. Come along and support your club and celebrate a special Valentine's party.
