Winter League
Week four of the Winter League was played in windy but dry weather conditions this weekend. Again we had some very closely contested matches. Group A – saw the New Faces beating the Dan Dans 9 points to 3. Next week will see the New Faces versus the Odd Balls for runner up in the section. The Murphs are running away with top spot. Group B saw the Poppys beating the Knee Knockers 8 points to 4 points and Flynns Flyers beating McCann Cans 9 points to 3 points. Next week sees three teams fighting for runner up in the group – interesting times ahead. Group C saw the Philipos beating the Dream Team 7 points to 5 points and the Keeghams beating Rooneys Rogues 7 points to 5 points. It is very hard to say who will come out of this section - it is very close and will go down to the last putt next Sunday. Group D saw Coogan's Bluff beating the Barbarians 7 points to 5 points and the Tractormen beating Paddy's Pirates 11 points to 1 point. Again this section is very close to call as to who will end up the winner and runner up. It was great to see Peggy Croke up supporting Paddy's Pirates – good to see you out and about Peggy. It is a pity that Paddy's Pirates let you down !!!!

The ladies secured two scalps this week with Sandra Keogh beating Michael Byrne and Trish Tully beating Alex Keegan. Best of luck next week ladies – we have four chances to take scalps –so make the best of these chances.

Membership Fees
Membership Fees can be paid on a Sunday morning at the club house to any committee member or you can pay on line ensuring you quote your name and registration number.

If you would like to join our Club please download an application form from the website and fill in the relevant details and return same – or email the secretary at [email protected]. Indeed you are more than welcome to call into the Club House and ask for any committee member who will be only too willing to discuss your enquiry – best time to call is on a Sunday from 10am

We have music on Saturday 17th February to celebrate Valentine's night– commencing at circa 9.30pm. Come along and support your club and celebrate a special Valentine's party.
