Winter League
Week two of the Winter League was played in very wet and windy conditions but nevertheless we had some very closely contested matches. Group A had a free week. Group B saw the Knee Knockers drawing 6 all with McCann Cans. While Flynn's Flyers beat the Poppys 8 points to four. Group C saw Keeghams sharing the points with the Rhinos and the Dream Team beat Rooney's Rogues 8 points to four. Group D saw the Tractormen beating Price's Penguins 11 points to 1 and the Barbarians beat Paddy's Pirates 8 points to 4. The ladies secured three scalps this week with Catherine Leonard beating Pete Anderson, Philo Condron beating Liam Price and Barbara Furlong beating Patsy Blake. We wonder if Patsy if going for three in a row next week!!

Membership Fees
Membership Fees can be paid on a Sunday morning at the club house to any committee member or you can pay on line ensuring you quote your name and registration number.

Our Club is now open for membership. If you would like to join our Club please download an application form from the website and fill in the relevant details and return same - or email the secretary at [email protected]. Indeed you are more than welcome to call into the Club House and ask for any committee member who will be only too willing to discuss your enquiry - best time to call is on a Sunday from 10am

Get Well Wishes
We send our sincere best wishes to Michael Morris and Jimmy Thompson for a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing them back in action very soon. To our President Michael Purcell we wish him every success in his upcoming surgery and hope that recovery time will be kind to him.

The club acknowledge with great sincerity the move brought forward by Lisa McCormack the daughter of our member Michael Monaghan (Get Mick Moving - new double amputee in Lucan) and we as a club will not be found wanting in supporting Lisa's appeal.
