The quarter finals brought out the best in some of the teams especially Andy Fitzgerald's "buzzers" whom destroyed the favorites Johnny Price's "dream team" and Philip Sweeneyt's "Todds" beat a well fancied Steven Keegan's "diggers". The results were as follows- Billy Blakes "Players" beat Paddy Croke#s "Crokers" 8-4. Philip Sweeney's "Todds" beat Steven Keegan's "Diggers 9-3. Andy Fitzgerald's "Buzzers" beat Johnny Price's "Dream Team" 9-3. Kathleen Croke's "Golden Oldies" beat Tony McDonnell's "Farmers" 8-4. Match of the round was between Philip Sweenet and Terry McMorrow with Philip beating Terry after trailing 3 down after 5 and chipping in from out in the country to win the match. Who's the favorite now!! Put your money on the players!!!! Semi-final line up for Sunday -- Billy Blake's "Players" versus Philip Sweeney "Todds" at 10.30am. Andy Fitzgerald's "Buzzers" versus Kathleen Croke's "Golden Oldies at 10.45am.
