Winter League - Week 6

We now know the semi finalists for this Sunday. The Dan Dans play The Poppys and Paddy's Pirates plays McCann Cans. The tee time is 11.30 on Sunday so come along and support these teams. Best of luck to all four teams.

Well ladies we got one scalp this week and what a scalp it was. Eileen Loakman beat Fergal Power. Fergal who escaped being scalped over the last number of weeks - his luck finally ran out when he met Eileen. Congratulations to you Eileen - you kept the flag flying for the ladies.

Ladies please note that weather permitting and the course being open we will have our usual Saturday 9 hole scramble at 1pm.

2020 Day Outing
The Gents' day out is on Saturday 29th February to St.Brigid's Pitch and Putt Club in Kildare. The Ladies day out is on Saturday 7th March to Gaeil Colmcille Pitch and Putt Club in Kells. Please ensure that you have your name on the sheet in the Clubhouse and your deposit paid.

Get Well Wishes
Wishing Agnes Dignam a speedy recovery from her surgery and wishing our Captain Dave Hayden 11 a speedy recovery.

New Members Welcome - Adults and Juveniles
Our Club is now open for membership. If you would like to join our Club please contact the Secretary in writing and we will be in touch with the relevant details by return. You can join as a family or individual or indeed you are more than welcome to call into the Club House and ask for any committee member who will be only too willing to discuss your enquiry - best time to call is at the weekend or contact us at [email protected]

Hall/Room for Hire
Please note that we have a hall/room for hire from 7pm weekdays - short term or long term hire/lease will be considered. Please contact the secretary by letter or email [email protected]

Work in our Club
Our Chairman Michael Purcell has the responsibility of steering our club in these difficult times and if that was not enough he has taken on the added responsibility of ensuring that our bar is staffed. Michael ensures that we have a rota for our bar opening days/hours. We are so thankful to these members who give of their time so freely and ensure that all members / visitors to our club are all treated with respect and very well looked after.

As I have said before and repeat it here again - we as a club are so lucky to have members who give so freely of their time to help our club. If you have an hour to spare during the week or on a Saturday we are always delighted to receive help.
