2019 National/Inter-County Championships
What a weekend we had at the McDonagh Pitch and Putt Club last weekend. Starting with the Dublin Ladies. They finished on the same score as Tipperary but were pipped on the sixth card rule. We had our own Philo Condron playing no small part in Dublin taking second place - well done to you Philo.


With the competition over the two days the Dublin gents were trailing by 9 shots going into the final round of singles on the Sunday. What a final round it was. Each of the Dublin players were great - the atmosphere around the 18th green was magic and the Dublin lads posted a score that wiped out the deficit they started with a little earlier and ended up winning by 10 shots. Congratulations lads and to our own Chris Gallagher and Anthony Malone - well done.

Condolences
The committee and members wish to extend their sincere sympathies to Fiona Langan and family on the death of Fiona's mother Ina Langan (RIP). Ina was a member of our Club in the early years and always had an interest in how the club was doing.

Wishing you Well
The committee and members wish to extend their good wishes to Josie Carey and wish her a speedy recovery.

Player of the Year
The Player of the Year is certainly heightening the good rivalry between the top five names in both the ladies and gents. It will make for a very close finish and all to play for before the end of September.
