The weather was magic and helped in no small way for a most enjoyable day by all participants. Thank you to our President who looked after us so well on the day and congratulations Noel on your choice of prizes. Well done to all the winners and to everybody who played on the day. Thank you to Lucan District Credit Union for their very kind sponsorship of this competition. Juveniles What a fantastic week our Juveniles have had. Last Saturday we had Eimear Ahearn in a nine hole playoff to decide the winner of the National Girls Championship. Although playing very well Eimear just came up short but none the less a very worthy runner up position. Not to be outdone her sister Maebh Ahearn took the third place spot. Well done girls on a great performance. On Sunday we had Alex Keegan who was part of the Dublin team playing in the National Under 16's Inter County. Alex played some great pitch and putt and contributed in no small way to Dublin taking second place. Good Luck Wishing the Ladies the very best of good luck in the League Final on Tuesday next 3rd September in RGSC. All support welcome. Leinster Inter County Championship - Inter Winners Congratulations to this team who won the Leinster Inter County Championship by some 18 shots. The team was captained by our own Barry Gorey and ably assisted by his two club mates Gareth Walsh and Tom McMorrow. Well done lads a great achievement and to have our club represented by three of the six players is a feat in itself. New Members Welcome - Adults and Juveniles Our Club is now open for membership.
