Congratulations
What a weekend our Club had last week. Starting with our Juveniles on the Saturday playing in the Dublin Strokeplay in Portmarnock. In the girls section Eimear Ahearn came second and Maebh Ahern came third. Both girls improved on their score in the second round and did themselves and the Club proud.

Now it was on to the Boys under 14 and what a performance young Alex Keegan gave us. Alex played very steady over the two rounds and like the two girls Alex improved his score in the second round. Alex score saw him the clear winner on the day and one feels that this young man is living up to the Keegan family name on the pitch and putt circles - third generation Keegan - congratulations to you Alex and very well done.

Now we come to the Sunday and the Lucan Scratch Cup. With our own Chris Gallagher who was 6 shots behind the leader who was from the Loughlinstown Club after 36 holes. It was some performance by Chris to overhaul this deficit and to win by two shots in the end of the 54 holes. Congratulations to you Chris - you are playing some great pitch and putt - well done.

Juveniles
Our Juvenile competition continues each Wednesday and for the months of July and August the completion will by commencing at 2pm. Our juvenile committee will be in attendance and coaching will be provided. New members are welcome so why not come along any Wednesday afternoon and talk to any of the committee who will be delighted to help you.

Our Club is now open for membership. If you would like to join our Club please contact the Secretary in writing and we will be in touch with the relevant details by return. You can join as a family or individual or indeed you are more than welcome to call into the Club House and ask for any committee member who will be only too willing to discuss your enquiry - best time to call is at the weekend or contact us at [email protected]
