Next weekend sees the National Matchplay Championships take place in Tullamore and we would like to wish Captain Philip, Chris, Dave, Philo, Evelyn and Dora the best of luck.

Last weekend saw The Remembrance Competition in memory of a former Captain Rose Thompson and the winners were:

Overall Winners:
Gents: Pat Flannery 89pts. (In the real Club.)
Ladies: Dora Keane 92pts.

Overall Runners-Up:
Gents: Anthony Malone 87pts.
Ladies: Sandra Keogh 86pts.

Class 1 Winners:
Gents: Paddy Croke 84pts.
Ladies: Kathleen Croke 76pts. (Keeping it in the Family.)

Class 2 Winners:
Gents: Alan Doyle 86pts. (B18)
Ladies: Angela Shanahan 81pts.

Class 3 Winners:
Gents: Stephen Needham 85pts.
Ladies: Eileen Loakman 84pts.

Winner 18 Gross: Damien Creevey 42pts.
18 Nett: Kevin Ward 47pts.

Congratulations to all the winners and we look forward to seeing you all for the presentation of prizes on Saturday 23rd June followed with music by Mick Butler and Friend.

The Annual B.B.Q. takes place next Saturday 9th June & anyone wishing to attend should see a member of the House Committee this weekend for tickets.

The deposit for the Gents weekend away to Tullamore in October is due & anyone else interested should get their name down this weekend.

Scrambles continue each Wednesday 7pm.
