Winter League
The Winter League got off to a flyer last week with some shock results. The Dream Team arrived full of zip and then got a wake-up call - NIL Points - but a spokesperson for the team said they will be back!!!

We had three scalps to commence our league. The first scalp went to the Eileen Loakman and rumour has it a Galway man Hugh Rooney was last seen heading West!!!!

The second scalp went to our ladies Senior Player Barbara Furlong who beat the Legend - Johnny Price. The third scalp went to Mairead O'Brien who beat the one and only 'Joker' Christy Dobbs.

Great fun and banter to be enjoyed at our Club each Sunday as the Winter Leagues are now underway. It's our annual competition that has enjoyment for all whether you are playing or a spectator- so please do come along and enjoy yourself.

Wishing you Well
The committee and members wish Trish Tully, Anthony Malone and Larry Fagan a speedy recovery.

Date for your Diary
a) Saturday 10th February 2018 - Valentines Ball - Music by Mick Butler

Condolence
The committee and members wish to extend their sympathies to the Cully family on the death of Maureen Cully RIP. Maureen was the wife of our founder member and past Captain the late Joe Cully.

May we also extend our sympathies to the Byrne Family on the death of Jim Byrne RIP. Jim was a member of our Club in 70's and 80's and won an All Ireland Junior Strokeplay in 1975.
