Rose Thompson RIP
It is with great sadness that our Club learned of the passing from this life of one of its earliest members in the history of Lucan Pitch and Putt Club - Rose Thompson. Rose was one of those ladies who laid the groundwork for the Ladies Membership in our Club and was a renowned and well respected player of our game and at all times held the admiration and grace of her opponents. Over many years Rose contributed tirelessly to our Club and was Lady Captain in 1971. Last weekend Lucan Pitch and Putt Club bid its final farewell to Rose who has written herself into the history of our Club as a great exponent of the game.
The committee and members wish to extend to the family of Rose Thompson their deepest sympathy at the death of Rose.
