Gents Inters make Dublin League final

Paddy Croke's Gents Intermediate team booked their place in the final of the Dublin Leagues after securing the 1.5 points they needed in the second leg of their semi final in Ierne.

Dave Hayden II and Sean Gallagher took a point from the doubles to leave just a half point remaining from the six singles matches. Sean Gallagher posted the winning point following an impressive display against former Lucan man John Byrne. The remaining matches were abandoned.

Lucan will have to wait to find out their opponents as the other semi final will not be played until the 8th of August, with Old County hosting Erin's Isle, the latter leading 6-3 from the first leg.

According to the Old County website, the final will take place in R.G.S.C. on 13th August.
