Junior ladies win the league

Gongrats to the Junior ladies on winning the Dublin leagues on Thursday night. The ladies needed 6 1/2 points against Shandon to take the title.They took two of the three doubles which made things very tight going into the singles knowing they needed 4.5 points in the singles. In the first singles Tess Donovan won a very close match winning on the 18th. Next in was Tracey Smith who proved to strong for her opponent winning on 16th, that win was quickly followed by Kathleen Granger and Sandra Keogh winning their matches.This left Lucan needing only one point from their remaining two singles and as the saying goes if anyone can Ann Mccann can.Ann brought in the winning point needed in superb style winning on the 15th which gave Seans Ladies there first title in seven years.
