Winter League Quarter Finals

Yesterday we had the quarter finals of the Winter Leagues. The results were as follows- Team J (Peter Keogh) beat Team E (Mick Morris) 11-1. Team O (Seve Mc Grath) beat Team G (Agnes Dignam) 7-5. Team N (Kathleen Croke) beat Team B (Noel Leonard) 7-5. And finally Team M (Paul County) beat Team I (Captain Terry) 7-5. The Semi Final will take place next week starting at 11.30am.

Semi Final Fixtures:
Peter Keogh's NiteLinks (Team J) V Seve's Sockets (Team O)
Kathleen Croke's Golden Oldies +1 (Team N) V Paul County's Winter Explorers (Team M)

All support welcome up to see the matches. Team M and Team N played each other already in the group stages and the result was 6-6 so this has the potential to be a great match.

There was only one scalp in the quarter finals when Mairead O'Brien beat Andy Fitzgerald so well done Mairead! There are fewer opportunities now for scalps but hopefully we will have another one or two to report next week.
