What a day yesterday was unfortunately our boys in green couldn't beat the French but lucans ladies and gents had no such problems beating the rest of leinster...a day that will be long remembered in the club as we had 3 Leinster champions. Kicking off the trio was Sandra Keogh who showed her class with some fantastic pitch and putt to win the ladies inter grade followed home in third by Evelyn o Gorman...next up was Michael Aherne who powered to a two shot win with a stunning -11 to win the inter grade and last but not least Keith Redmond who held off the challenge of his good friend JR Crangle in a playoff to win the senior grade.
Well done to all winners and participants you done your club very proud yesterday and we now move on to the Dublin championships and hopefully some more silverware. |
